Heaven's Fire Came to Earth
The January 2005 Bolivia Evangelistic Campaign

It is such a joy to give testimony to the mighty works of God so that He receives the honor and glory, the people of His church are edified and built up, and the reign of God is established in new and powerful ways!
During our two weeks in Bolivia the fire of God's love and his healing power were poured out in abundance. Many lives were transformed, whole families restored to harmony, and many received physical healing. We knew that heaven's fire would fall during the campaigns, but we watched in amazement at how the Lord moved to touch his people. At least fifty persons received the Lord Jesus as their Savior, and at least as many made renewed commitments of faith.
Of particular significance to us was the fact that the pastors and leaders in the two churches where we ministered received special manifestations of the presence of the Lord. We have received reports that these leaders are now actively carrying out healing ministry in their parishes. What is so encouraging is to hear of their enthusiasm in wanting to apply the principles of healing ministry which they were taught.
In La Paz, at Cristo Salvador, there were twenty-five persons who participated in the training and equipping sessions. During the times of ministering to these persons, we witnessed an unusual openness and vulnerability as they freely sought to receive God's forgiveness for sinning against others, and they extended forgiveness to individuals who had deeply wounded them. As this took place, the anointing power of the Holy Spirit showed up big time. There were manifestations of tears, laughter, resting in the Spirit, and, on one occasion, we danced in the Spirit sensing the joy and presence of Jesus. Oh how we need to have true joy restored in the lives of believers!
For years she couldn't use her hand to cut vegetables, it is now perfectly normal.
One pastor's wife, a new Christian, experienced heat in her body and "burning" in her hands as we prayed for her. She is passionate, now, to learn all she can about how to pray for people.
One Roman Catholic family came to the Healing Service in the evening. At the invitation to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, ten of the twelve there stood to make this commitment. Their prior faith was very nominal. One member saw the light of Christ around the altar, and around herself, and her hand was completely healed without anyone praying for her! For years she couldn't use her hand to cut vegetables, it is now perfectly normal.
The second week we preached, offered training sessions for four days, and held evangelistic-healing services in the evenings. Again there were about twenty persons called to learn about healing prayer. At the evening services there were 100 present. Again, there was a powerful move of God at each of these sessions.
As we prayed for the fire of God to touch them, the pastor fell to his knees and remained in deep prayer for over 15 minutes. Later he reported to us that he felt a "force" come over him, he felt a "covering of protection" over him, and sensed someone standing next to him. It was either the Lord or an angel because none of us was standing next to him. This pastor came for inner healing prayer and was set free from his past hurts. He wrote that he now is experiencing the Father's love in a new way that will never leave him.
What matters the most is that everything that happened was so clearly the hand of God and had nothing to do with us.
Before the campaign the attendance at his church averaged 100 persons on Sundays. There is now an average of 140 every week. Many persons felt heat and the fire of God as they received prayer.
There were several dramatic physical healings. A grandmother brought her five year old grandson for prayer one evening. He had serious difficulty with his heart valve and was scheduled for surgery. After the prayer, the doctors were so amazed at the change in him they ran tests on the boy's heart and were surprised to find him healed and they canceled the surgery. Praise to God!

One woman came for prayer and received complete healing in her right foot, badly broken four months ago. When she came to the service she could barely walk. The next day she came to us full of joy and started jumping around the room. There are other testimonies we could share, both physical healings and inner (emotional) healing.
What matters the most is that everything that happened was so clearly the hand of God and had nothing to do with us.
I'm so grateful for our team, Jose Gutierrez and Russell Cochran, from Grace Chapel in Oceanside. All of us were touched by the fire as well.
May our gracious Lord and Savior use these testimonies to build up your faith and move you to expect greater miracles in your ministries. Prayer is the most powerful force on earth. Never stop praying, never stop believing, never stop claiming the promises of God. Keep pressing in for more, keep seeking greater intimacy with the Father, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit, keep praying for healing and every blessing that comes from Heaven!
