Taking God's Healing Love to the Nations

November 26, 2007

Dear ones,

As our Thanksgiving decorations get packed away, and remembrances are savored of the wonderful time with Sam, Peter and Bruce and his family gathered 'round, we give great thanks for each of you!

Our days have been very busy as we've tried to keep faithful to the to-do list in preparation for our departure December 28, God willing. We have had 2 garage sales, which really were not very profitable but definitely got new homes for things. Also, we discovered that it had the side benefit that while one of us was attending customers, the other was sorting and cleaning the garage so that was TWO big helps. Tomorrow AMVETS will come and pick up a big load so little by little we are whittling our worldly belongings down to the dearest of family things.

Then the next order of business Ð and this is a prayer request Ð is to rent our house. You see that beautiful white kittie in the garage sale picture Ð by the table? He is the most wonderful feline companion anyone could ever have and he needs a home as well. We were HOPING that a renter might have a heart for him, so he could stay here. I know that's asking a lot, but with God all things are possible! At any rate we are praying for both of those needs.

Last week we had a wonderful send-off from St. Anne's our home parish. We hadn't seen everyone there for a long time so it was great to be with them, give our presentation and be commissioned for service in Bolivia. The people at St. James have been wonderful also. Fr. Richard (vicar there) and his wife Martha have been so supportive and really understand missionary life, as they were in Africa for 8 years. We just wanted to give you a quick update and let you know that we carry you with us always in our hearts with great thanksgiving, as co-laborers.

Much love in Christ, Meg and Bob+
