Taking God's Healing Love to the Nations

"Go for it!" Be bold, be courageous, be joyful!

December 27, 2006
Dear Friends,

Today is the feast day of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist. The passion of John was to write an account of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus so that we "may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name." (John 29:31). In many ways, John is my favorite of the apostles. John was a philosopher with the capacity to reflect upon the life of Jesus in such a manner that we are taken into the heart of the love of God. It is John who expressed so beautifully the incarnation story, telling us why Jesus took on flesh. He tells us Jesus came so that he could bring God's life into our human experience! I am at a point in my life where this is becoming more of the central focus: How can I embrace and receive all the fullness of the divine life of Christ...his glory, his power, his gifts of grace, his mercies, his healing, his joy, love, peace and the other "fruit" of the Spirit, into my daily activities and relationships? How can we, as God's very own children, work and pray and live in such a way that we are truly co-laborers with our heavenly Father in making heaven come to earth? As we welcome in this new year of 2007, may we anticipate a life of receiving these blessings from our loving daddy, and our Savior Jesus Christ, as we call upon Him to pour into us this holy life of divine love. The world is waiting for a visible witness of the reality of Christ. I can think of no greater challenge given to us than this for the year now before us. So, "Go for it!" Be bold, be courageous, be joyful!

As most of you know, my leaving the Healing Center opened the way for me to concentrate my time on pursuing international missions. Thanks to the generous assistance of Carl Gompper, the Lion of Judah Missions' website was "up and running" by the end of July. Check it out at: http://www.lionofjudahmissions.org. The website is extremely well done, full of good information and testimonies to God's mighty deeds. You will be able to read about past mission trips, including the most recent seminar for pastors and leaders in La Paz, Bolivia.

In October, I had the privilege and joy of attending a retreat-conference for pastors and leaders in Santiago, Chile. My purpose in going was to meet those leaders from seven different countries from around South America in order to promote the ministry of Lion of Judah. A number of people came to me to inquire about the healing ministry. Several persons from parishes in Argentina indicated an interest in my traveling to their parishes to conduct training seminars. We'll see. A few pastors asked for prayers for themselves, or loved ones with serious needs. This was a humbling experience to minister to these fellow brothers and sisters in the faith. One evening the Holy Spirit spoke directly to me, through the message of the speaker, to reveal an area of healing and breakthrough in my life. I sat listening in astonishment, and awe, at how the message addressed a particular issue I'd prayed about for months. God is so good!

I want to ask you for your prayers for the week of January 8th through the 14th. I will be meeting with a group of pastors in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to plan a seminar for next June or July. What is exciting is that there are continuing prophetic words being given to the leaders and churches in Santa Cruz about the coming of revival to Bolivia. They are hungry and enthusiastic, and they are holding 24-hour prayer meetings of worship and praise crying out to God. They know this entails spiritual warfare and they request prayers for protection and victory.

Also please pray for Bishop Frank Lyons as he prepares to visit here in San Diego between January 21 and February 1. Somewhere in that time period he and I will be meeting together. My expectation is to get clarification and clear discernment for future work in Bolivia. I appreciate your prayers in this direction as well.

My last item of news (this by the way is my first "official" newsletter for Lion of Judah Missions) is that I have mailed in the Articles of Incorporation to the State of California to start the process toward having 501(c)3 status. In the interim, I've made arrangements with St. Anne's to use their non-profit status for receiving donations for Lion of Judah. Tax-deductible donations may be made payable to "Saint Anne's Anglican Church" with a designation in the memo section "for Bob Jepsen". Please do not put "Lion of Judah"; only my name please. Also, please mail them to our address: 1451 Brook Rd., San Marcos, CA 92069. I will direct them to Saint Anne's and will be better able to keep track of your generosity.

I appreciate each and every one of you for your friendship and your prayers. I pray for a harvest of plenitude in your lives and faithful service to our Lord and King. While 2006 was a blessed year, I believe that in 2007 we'll witness an even greater move of God throughout the world. Keep your eyes on Heaven and watch it come to earth.

Blessings!

Bob
